[SLE] Linux sever not shown in Network Neighbourhood
Hi I'm sure that this question gets asked all the time... I have a linux box set up on the domain 'Linux'. Other NT4 clients are on the domain 'School'. Although the windowz computers can see the 'Linux' domain, they cannot see the machine itself. All computers are on the same subnet. It is possible to access the linux shares by going top '\\alpha', alpha being the name of the linux box. Any ideas on getting the linux box to be displayed? Also, the 'school' domain is controlled by NT4 servers. Would it be possible to use samba to 'take over' the school domain by setting the workgroup to 'School', os-level to 65, and enabling domain controller, primary master and local master? :-) Just wondering!
