[opensuse] Dell Mini9,exotic keyboard, install openSuSE 11.1 with right keyboard layout.
I want to install openSuSE 11.1 on a Dell Mini9 netbook which has an exotic keyboard(does not have direct function keys, some keys have 4 options depending on transform keys Shift,Alt Gr,etc.).It has a spanish keyboard because the netbook was purchased in Spain. The important thing is:It came from factory with Ubuntu 8.04 and with it all is perfect in terms of keyboard layout, all keys and options function perfectly. I am writing this running openSuSE 11.1 liveCD Gnome, and I need to do some tricks to write all this text and send the e-mail because the keyboard layout does not fit. Question:are there any file,or information I can get from Ubuntu 8.04 before I install openSuSE 11.1 which could facilitate after to adjust openSuSE 11.1 to a perfect keyboard layout? In openSuSE installer there are 3 options for Spain keyboards: spanish,spanish(latinAmerica),spanish(CP850) but I do not have great faith it works without changes,so I need to know what makes it work so well in Ubuntu 8.04.
