Hi everybody, I'm having a strange problem with susewatcher. When it starts up (when starting KDE as normal user), I get a lot of disktrashing and CPU usage. Recently I installed Mosfet Liquids theme for KDE. But I don't believe that themes have anything to do with susewatcher. When I start the susewatcher program from the Konsole, I get this errormessages continously: Invalid entry (missing '=') at /home/marco/Desktop/xdmnx-hsf18.cd1.avi:785658 the '=' also gets replaced by ']' alternating. The numbers at the end of the errormessage keeps on adding up. Running the program as root, there are no errormessages whatsoever. In the beginning everything was fine. Somehow, somewhere something went wrong.... Anyone any ideas about how to solve this problem ? Kind regards, Marco Karsten

Can you create a new (test) user and see if the problem shows up there too? Are all messages relating to your ~/Desktop directory? If so, cleanung up in there (possibly making a backup copy of the complete Directory first) might be the solution. Greetings from Bremen hartmut
Deleting all the files from the `/Desktop did solve the problem. my guess is that susewatcher expected a .desktop file and not a movie file. On Thursday 22 May 2003 22:55, Hartmut Meyer wrote:
