Stupid question: I thought it would be easy to burn a DVD but you have to use cdrecord-prodvd and yast2 doesn't know it. cdrecord -scanbus does well recognise dvd burner as device 2.0.0 I miss something I think. -- Alain Barthélemy cassandre@bartydeux.be http://www.bartydeux.be Linux User #315631

Besides using a newer version of K3B I also installed dvd+rw-tools-5.18.4.8.6-0.pm.1 from packman's site. I am able to burn data DVD's and copy unprotected DVD's. -- Ken Schneider unix user since 1989 linux user since 1994 SuSE user since 1998 (5.2)
