Dell Inspiron 1100 and Linux
Would I be right by getting a Dell Inspiron 1100 to install Linux on it? Is its video card supported under Linux as well as other components such as controllers and sound card?

If you list them then maybe we could comment on them. :) -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe.. I'll tell you what you should see.

This is a good reason to get the Live Evaluation CD to test these things out. I believe Dell has a liberal return policy, if you were to specify your intentions at the time of order. Better yet, shop locally and test while there, then there are no surprises when you get home. :o) Patrick -- --- KMail v1.5.9.1i --- SuSE Linux Pro v8.2 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
