[SLE] Make Menuconfig resulted in segmentation fault...
Greetings! I wanted to try something different with my SuSE 6.3 Linux kernel, but I got an segmentation error when I ran "make menuconfig". Strange... this worked a couple of months ago. I tried "make mrproper" and then "make menuconfig", but I got the same error message. Nuked the source tree and reinstalled from the CD, but I still got the same error message. I tried "make config" and "make xconfig", and still got the same error message. I'm stratching my head trying to figure what the heck is going on. Fortunately, I got a stable kernel already, so I don't have my pants on fire trying to get this to work. Thanks! Without context, i.e. the actual error messages, nobody will be able to help further. Signal 11, i.e. a segfault, can have various reasons, one of the most common faulty memory.
