Hi all, On a gateway I had SUSE 9.1 with SuSEfirewall2 forwarding terminal services and web traffic to a windows server behind it. The box developed hardware problems, and I replaced it with a different machine running SUSE 9.2. I noticed that /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 had some changes so I went through it by hand and set made sure all the options that exist in both are the same. The port forwarding part I copied and pasted directly from the old file to the new and looks like this: FW_FORWARD_MASQ="0/0,192.168.16.2,tcp,3389 0/0,192.168.16.2,udp,3389 0/0,192.168.16.2,tcp,80 0/0,192.168.16.2,tcp,443" when I try to open remote destkop to the windows box, it times out, and in the firewall logs I see this: Dec 1 10:07:17 mpost kernel: SFW2-FWDext-ACC-REVMASQ IN=eth1 OUT=eth0 SRC=165.146.110.238 DST=192.168.16.2 LEN=44 TOS=0x08 PREC=0x00 TTL=56 ID=17545 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=4686 DPT=80 WINDOW=5808 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0 OPT (02040584) Does this mean that the forwarding does in fact work and that the windows box is not accepting or responding properly, or is my firewall not behaving as it should?
