Pidgin works. I think Kopete does, too, but I use Pidgin so I'm not sure about that. There was a recent update to Pidgin to restore connectivity with the primary (North American, anyway) Yahoo! Instant Messenger servers.
thanks,
JIM

I have used mercury very successfully. MSN recently changed something in their protocol (again) so look at the homepage for details on how to update to a patched version. -- /Rikard Johnels
HI all! Thanks to all about this. BUTTT I will not be bothering to set it up. Last night I met a "woman" on a date site and she wanted me to chat using MSN. So I tried to set it up. But I quickly figured out that whoever it was, was pulling a Nigerian scam on me. She had 80kg of gold she needed to get out of Ghana! :( I hate scammers in general. But the ones that pick on us poor lonely widowers I hope burn in hell. Thanks all, JIM On Saturday 25 July 2009 12:16:01 Rikard Johnels wrote:

Maybe she was reffering to herself?.. :P All jokes aside. I have actually met someone who fell for that particular stunt. He was SO convinced he was to get rich the "easy way"... As long as there are gullible ppl, humanity will suffer from bad sharks... -- /Rikard Johnels

Indeed and Kopete also supports your webcam! (Of course if your cam is supported by your kernel). Malte -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
