I just got an email, in Kmail, with an attachment that I want. In its place is an apparently generated message, "The file attached to this email was removed because files of this type are not accepted for delivery by your email gateway." Is this a Kmail problem that I can correct or a problem with my server, that I need to contact them and tell them to give me the attachment? Richard

My ISP blocks file like *.exe, *.dll, *.src on their outgoing mail server. This is to protect the windows end users for viruses. Just email back and tell them to send it again in a zip archieve or tar.gz. You should be fine. -- Micxz
