[opensuse] Re: 11.0 and new behavior of kdesu [SOLVED]

Hi, on 10.3, after proper configuring of sudo, kdesu used sudo to launch programs as root (i.e. I could use my user's password). In 11.0 this changed back to asking always the root password.
How can I get the old behavior?
For others which may need this, I found a solution in comment #2 in this bug case: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=400903#c2 -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Sunny, I take that back! You did make my day. I executed the above as root with no luck - duh david...... As user and sudo is back to normal ... And ... Yast software management isn't forced to open full-screen without window decorations with compiz running. Seriously - Thank You. This issue has really been a big pain I.T.A. -- David C.
