Kmail, I've discovered, has a menu item for "new message to mailing-list". However, that menu item doesn't show up in the list of items in the toolbar configuration. Am I just missing it, or is it really not there? Is there any way to create a toolbar icon for this function? Paul Abrahams
Go ot "configuring Kmail", you'll find two options: "new message in the diffusion list", and "answer to a message in the diffusion list". HTH Le Dimanche 4 Janvier 2004 18:27, Paul W. Abrahams a écrit :

I create one folder for each list and I setting the properties of the folder. In the option "Associated Mailing List" check the "Folder Holds a Mailing List" field and fill the "Post address" field with the e-mail address of the mailing list (like suse-linux-e@suse.com). When I do this that button "New Message to Mailing-List" work. Cheers Thadeu On Monday 05 January 2004 02:27, Paul W. Abrahams wrote:

As usual, "what version"? I just checked here, and kmail 1.5.4 [for kde 3.1.4] has an icon for this [identical, of course, to the normal "new email message" icon] Right-click the toolbar, select "configure toolbar", and scroll down the left side until you find it [they should be alphabetized] ALTERNATIVELY: you can do it "the old fashioned way" -- if you have a folder configured for use as a list, using the MIDDLE mouse button on the name of the folder in the tree-view creates a new message addressed to the list... -- Yet another Blog: http://osnut.homelinux.net
