Either, but you'll get a /slight/ performance improvement from an i686 build. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, usr local bin & Planet SuSE james@rubberturnip.org.uk www.rubberturnip.org.uk Updated GNOME packages for SUSE LINUX: www.usr-local-bin.org Latest SUSE News and Blogs: www.planetsuse.org
After moving from Redhat to Suse one problem occured about Samba. In log file there are: Aug 1 14:49:18 www smbd[20388]: [2004/08/01 14:49:18, 0] rpc_server/srv_util.c:get_domain_user_groups(372) Aug 1 14:49:18 www smbd[20388]: get_domain_user_groups: primary gid of user [user1] is not a Domain group ! Aug 1 14:49:18 www smbd[20388]: get_domain_user_groups: You should fix it, NT doesn't like that These errors occur every day for every user/machine account. This server (server1) only serves home directories, another server (redhat) manages logins to domains on also serves other network drives. Everything seems to be working OK, only these warnings in log files... What could be the reason? smb.conf of server1: [global] workgroup = SMTH security = user encrypt passwords = yes server string = HOME jagaja netbios name = server1 [home] browseable = no comment = Home Directories create mask = 0700 guest ok = no path = %H read only = no
