When I try to install 9.1 from the CD set I purchased, it give me two problems. 1) In some of the screens it appears to be blank, but I think it is really black writing on a black screen because I can see lines and bullets. What could cause this and how do I fix it? 2) When it shows the boot messages it give a "FATAL" Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.4-52-default/modules.dep: no such file or directory". Why would it not be able to find this> I am loading everything. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated. This indicates that you haven't rebooted the system. In the installer, when you run the online update, you get a kernel update. When you update your kernel you need to reboot the system, otherwise many things will fail, including the hardware detection that follows it in the installer
