Hi. I'm running SuSE 8.2 now. Once there were one that helped me getting my path to Mozilla to work very easy. As far as I remember the Mozilla bin was placed into /usr/local/bin, and the work with placing it there was done using Konqueror, with it set on split screen. I have just tried it again, but had no luck. I marked the /opt/mozilla/mozilla binary, and would link it to /usr/local/bin. I then got an error "Could not create symlink /usr/local/bin/mozilla. Please check permissions. What permissions does it refer to, and how should the permission be ? I guess what you need is root permission. $ su Password: <root passwd> # cd /usr/local/bin # ln -s /opt/mozilla/mozilla # ^D $ -- Ch
Hi and thanks for your reply.

Ok.
$ su Password: <root passwd> # cd /usr/local/bin # ln -s /opt/mozilla/mozilla # ^D $
Here's my results: erik@192:~> su Password: 192:/home/erik # cd /usr/local/bin/ 192:/usr/local/bin # ln -s /opt/mozilla/mozilla ln: `./mozilla': File exists 192:/usr/local/bin # exit What does that tell us ?. -- Med venlig hilsen - Best regards Erik Jakobsen - eja@urbakken.dk SuSE Linux 8.2 Registered Linux user #114875 - http://counter.li.org

What does that tell us ?.
It tells us that /usr/local/bin/mozilla already exists (!). Vänliga hälsningar -- Ch
