Postfix / Header Checks / postmap, etc.
We plan to use a number of mainboards for workgroup servers and found it difficult to identify a manufacturer and model of board. We are looking for 5 or 6 PCI, no Sound, no VGA, no NET, no RAID. The problem seems to be, that the product cycle is so short, where you can buy a certain board or type of board. When you know a working board and need some more, then its off the market. What mainboard brand/model are you using with SuSE 7.x or 8.x (Kernel 2.4.16+) and where would say "Yes, this one works ok." ? Many thanks indeed for your brief answer (probably just state brand and type ok or not ok!) Martin Irrgang -- SYSTEMBERATUNG Ing.
