[opensuse] OpenOffice 3 on OpenSuSE 11.1 problem: can't save ODG and ODP files
Hello everyone, Whenever I attempt to save an ODP (Presentation) or ODG (Drawing) file all I get is the file chooser window coming back up at me, with no file getting saved. Alternate formats work (for instance, StarDraw and PPT). That happens consistently on 3 different machines (at least). Has anybody experienced this? Is there a fix? Thanks for any and all help. Update to the Unstable, or install vanilla OOo instead of the Go-OO version. The Go-OO version has extras included and sometimes those extras end up breaking things... I see it a lot on the OOo Forums and mailing lists. I've had the same issue with the Go-OO builds... so far the Unstable seems to be free of it. ( rpm -qa gives me OpenOffice_org-3.1.0.2-1.1) C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Just upgraded two machines to Unstable, seems to work. Thanks a bunch, Clayton! Now just FYI: the vanilla OpenSuSE 11.1 seems to have come with OO 3.0.0. That one did not have this problem. The further "stable" update, OO 3.0.1 did. Hence the moral of the story seems to be, either stay at 3.0.0 or go straight to 3.1.0.
