Netscape and Mozilla printing without ending. I shame on my collegues and boss.
Dear my friends.... At the computer of our secretary is happening a ridiculous thing. I shame on them because I always promote/recommend to use linux (SuSE Linux 8.1). If she prints a page from the internet with Mozilla and Netscape than the printer prints not what on the Mozilla or Netscape's display but only machine code and runs never end. But if she prints from Star Office, than it prints properly. I don't know exactly when the problem started. May be since I update her SuSE Linux (i'm not sure). If she prints with konqueror than it prints properly. Help me, before I shame on everybody else at my office and before the secretary of my boss cries on my boss to push me change the operating system to "Mickey-Soft Windoof" (MS Windows). I reinstalled the netscape but it also didn't succeeded. I tried to uninstall with "rpm -u netscape" or "rpm -e netscape" but it didn't work. Thank you very much in advance. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Tax Center - forms, calculators, tips, more http://taxes.yahoo.com/

You're printing the raw postscript properly. What happens if you file kprinter as printer application in mozilla? -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless

Hi.
I had the same problem. This instruction from suse solved it: http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/jsmeix_print-81-cups-formfeed.html

You might also want to check what command is getting run when a print job is processed. I've changed mine to pipe things through 'mpage -2' and then to the printer. Go under 'Properties' after hitting 'Print'. That's where the command line arguments are. Maybe someone "changed" something ? :) brian -- Brian Jackson Photo http://www.brianjacksonphoto.com Action Athletics "Sports Photography for You" http://www.actionathletics.com
OK... thanks my friend....
I've changed it to opera. I was shy yesterday.

I had this problem when I upgraded from 8.0 to 8.1and the system changed to CUPS. After a lot of cursing I found out that A; CUPS was installed as default B: when I clicked on print in say Kmail, the message "print system currently used" came up as "default". But it was't . I had to change it manually to CUPS, although Cups was default and the "system used" was default. HTIOAH. Greetings from /bill at 169 west , 19 south. (where the hell is that?). Please let me know if I didn't send this to you.
