recommend slightly renaming Yast XEN module name in German
I don't know how the Yast module for installing new XEN domains(domU) is called in English, but in German it is a bit misleading, because the definite article "der" (the) is used in the module name. In German it is called "Installation der Virtual Machine (XEN)" (translated: Insallation of the Virtual Machine (XEN)). I think for new users it would be much clearer if the module name was renamed using the indefinite article "einer" (an). "Installation einer (neuen/zusätzlichen) Virtual Machine (XEN)" (Installation of an (new/additional) Virtual Machine (XEN). It took me some time to figure out what this Yast module is really used for. I always thought it is used to setup the XEN-Master (Installation of the VM). Regards, Jörg.
anyway, as you see there is a very common lack in Linux documentation. this is precisely saying what is the use of an application. I'm an user of VMware, and could not understand if I could replace it by Xen... what is Xen good for? can I install Windows in a Xen config, like I do on a new computer? can I use Xen to install 10.1betas? but this is just an example... jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos

ATM Xen3 is not capable to run Windows in a virtual domain (DomU) -- but as new processors evolve, this might become possible in the future. If you are interested in Xen in general, I'd recommend * http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/Research/SRG/netos/xen/ * http://en.opensuse.org/Xen and * ftp://ftp.belnet.be/pub/mirror/FOSDEM/FOSDEM2006-xen.avi for a nice talk on Xen.
