LVM partitions not getting mounted
I did my first ever install of Suse and was able to set up LVM logical volumes for usr, home, var, tmp, and opt (root isn't on LVM) via the installer. When my system boots up, none of these volumes get mounted. I can mount them by hand though. How can I get them mounted automatically? I wonder if it's a problem with SATA and the ausustek RAID controller. A module for the controller is brought up, but I'm not using the SATA drives in RAID mode; I'm letting LVM2 do the striping... Any help appreciated. _________ Stephen If your desktop gets out of control easily, you probably have too much stuff on it that doesn't need to be there. Donna Smallin, "Unclutter Your Home"

Did you put 'auto' in the options area in fstab? Mike- -- If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs... Mike-
I didn't edit fstab, thinking that it had something to do with the init scripts, but the simplest solution is probably the best. Thanks! Stephen
