[opensuse] kernel, kernel source, utsrelease.h alignment
i would appreciate a nudge in the right direction that will help me align my kernel, kernel source, and utsrelease.h i am using the default kernel because i cannot use the pae kernel which was the loader's first choice here are the relevant bits; let me know if more is needed tia dt:~ # cat /usr/src/linux/include/linux/utsrelease.h #define UTS_RELEASE "2.6.27.19-9-default" dt:~ # uname -r 2.6.27.7-9-default dt:~ # zypper info kernel-source Loading repository data... What exactly do you mean by "align"?

So you have the new kernel-source package installed but are still running the old kernel.
