After upgrading xf86 from the xf86 repo, several python apps are failing with this error:

For example, from polly: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/polly", line 42, in <module> import gtk as Gtk File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py", line 40, in <module> from gtk import _gtk ImportError: /usr/lib/libxcb-shm.so.0: undefined symbol: xcb_send_fd
libxcb-shm0-1.10-33.1.i586 polly-0.93.10-2.6.noarch
know of a workaround?
You need a version of python gtk module that is compiled and linked against the xcb version available in the xf86 repository.
