I've properly installed and configured my Asuscom Isdn Adapter 128 PCI; it work perfectly on my Suse6.4 (wow). I've configured with yast1.
Congratulations.
The question is: The card go online with a sensitive auto-mode (if applications call the line). If I want to set up a manual connection, how can I launch the dialling (wvdial, pppd, ipppd..)?
Use isdnctrl. It has a man page :)
And, more, there's a particular file or a human readable thing on the monitoring of Isdn process? /var/messages it seems not to tell too much if a connection fall in case of busy number of ISP.... ThanX in advance for all suggestions.
The ISDN system is configured by rc.config files in /etc/rc.config.d/i4l* Have a look at the different variables, there should be one defining the verbosity level as well.
