Hi, I'm searching for info how to set up dynamic DNS. I would like my DHCP-server to update my DNS information. I have seen this somewhere, but I can't find it back.
There is a recent article in Web Monkey titled "Dynamic DNS Basics" that might be of help. http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/03/11/index2a.html?tw=backend
Look at the docs for the dhcp server. The command you need to set in the server config is described in /usr/share/doc/packages/dhcp-server/DDNS-howto.txt. You also need to configure your name server to allow updates from the dhcp server
I knew I saw it before, thanks.
