Ok, I've installed gtk-gnutella, but I can only run it if I log into KDE as root. If I log in as a regular user and go to "xterm" and type in "gtk" and push "TAB" it shows only the file "gtkasp2php". The file "gtk-gnutella" is in the directory "/opt/gnome/bin/". If I log into the console as root or as a user the file "gtk-gnutella" appears when I type in "gtk" and push "TAB". My question is: Can I run gtk-gnutella as a regular user? If so, why isn't it working? Is there a variable I need to change for my regular user account in KDE to recognize the "/opt/gnome/bin/" directory, like a PATH variable? Thanks... --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
