I find this message at the start of the boot log. Inspecting /boot/System.map-2.6.27.19-3.2-default Cannot find map file. No module symbols loaded - kernel modules not enabled. Cannot build symbol table - disabling symbol lookups klogd 1.4.1, log source = ksyslog started. Here's the results of ls -l System.map-2.6.27.19-3.2- default from within /boot. -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1419357 2009-02-25 08:22 System.map-2.6.27.19-3.2-default I have the kernel -default, base, extra and docs, kernel- source, kernel- symbols rpms installed. (2.6.27.19-3.2.1- x86_64) Is there something else I need to install. One hit on SUSE Forum implies this is normal. Is It? How do I get the symbols installed so I can do back traces?
