New version is broken.
Old version uses about 100M on my local hard disk (I use IMAP). New version -- tried it 4 times -- and no matter how I configure it, it ends up using over 1.4G on my local hard disk.
By default mail is cached for off-line reading. Configure it not to, and the space used will drop a lot. However, start up may take longer while it indexes.
This increases my login/logout time by 15-20 minutes both ways.
Something wrong on your side. It is almost instantaneous here.
BTW, when I hit reply to you, it only goes to you...not to the list, so I have to manually make sure it Cc's the list.
There is a configuration change in the old suse thunderbird so that, when replying to all on a mail list, it goes to the mail list instead.
When I replied to Ken Scheider@opensuse, it defaulted to going to the list.
Because he chooses to do a change in his system. You want us to do the same. We don't, we tell you to conform to the list rules instead, and nobody has to change anything. You don't agree, fine. Don't try to convice us either. We are right. >:-) - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R.
