Hello After a lot of fights with my ISP because they wouldn't set up my dns, here it is: Hax Linux lets you create and remaster a liveCD based on suse linux 9.2, with kernel 2.6.9. It uses squashfs, so you will need a squashfs-ready kernel to be able to mount and remaster the isos. There are 2 isos: an iso with a suse base system, intended for easy remastering and another iso for dekstop use that comes with xfce4 (it's more an example of a finished remaster). I am still working on the documentation, but a guide on how to remaster the cd is available in Hax's homepage, as well as the locations for download: http://www.hax-linux.org Those willing to contribute with documentation, howtos and improvements send me an email. For technical issues like how to build and remaster the iso, bug fixes, requests and whatever else, please use the site's forum, so that other people can also see the problems and possible solutions. Things needed to be fixed asap in the distro: sax2 and xorgconfig; user's home dir and user's permissions. X autodetection is reasonable enough and if you use the livecd on the same pc where you built it, works just fine; I've just noticed issues with monitors larger that 19" and high resolutions. Have a lot of fun remastering Josephine
