Here in the UK. Those of us lucky enough to get the home package of ADSL installed, have to suffer the use of Windows to access the net. Why, because the modem is an Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem, which only has drivers for Windoze. Our T&C disallow us from changing the hardware. Surely someone from Suse-UK could offer to lend Alcatel some help in getting a linux driver sorted. There is one supposedly in production, however the site concerning it has gone down, and I believe the prospective author has suffered a tragic loss in his family. So the project is on hold. I am suffering the pointless use of a Win2000 box purely to get onto the net. gnash gnash dids www.diddyland.com
