In KDE I'm in the habit of clicking on the Konsole button. I guess it's also called Terminal Emulation. It's easy to set fonts and such. What's the difference between this and an xterm? Just curious. On Mon, 17 Jan 2000, S.Toms wrote:

Crappy way to do it, but you could press <ctrl> and right click the window which will present you with some font size selections. Or you could modify the actual kdelnk file that launches xterm and change the following line, Exec=xterm -ls to Exec=xterm -fn <fontname> -ls
The following would have to be modified for KDE to recognize it
/usr/local/kde/applnk/SuSE/workpopup/xterm.kdelnk /usr/local/kde/apps/kappfinder/apps/Utilities/xterm.kdelnk
To globally take care of it, you would have to modify the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/XTerm & XTerm-color files which would control all invocations of symply 'xterm' of course command line options will overide those two files. I actually use the following in a shortcut from my desktop xterm -bg black -fg grey100 -fn 7x14 -sl 1000 -vb
Anyway, best of luck

You can make it illegal, but you can't make it unpopular.
