Is there anyway to install 6.4 using yast (not yast2)? If there is a boot disk image, could someone please point me to it?
TIA,
At the Lilo boot: prompt, enter "yast1" or "yast" (can't remember). This should boot your system into the old Yast.
Or if you're having problems booting from CD, get a boot floppy, an image of which *should* be on the evaluation iso and on the FTP site here: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/evaluation-6.4/disks/ There's a DOS utility to put these images onto floppies here, I think: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/evaluation-6.4/dosutils/rawrite/ or if you already have a working Linux, just use dd. -- Rachel -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
