How does one change the KDE4 desktop background to something that looks decent?
Click and drag any image to the desktop and see what happens
I went in Firefox to http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi and dragged the image on the left under the Google box to a desktop area showing beside Firefox. It briefly displayed a tooltip describing the image, but had no apparent effect on the desktop background. If it had worked, how would I get it back to the way it was (is undo hiding post-drag; does undo even exist for wallpaper change by drag; does wallpaper change by drag exist)? On a related front - where do I go to get the panel not to sort applications by name, but instead place in order application was opened (like Windows originally did by default, & maybe still does)? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
