I don't use emacs, but my System Admin does, and so I have it installed on my 8.2 box.
While looking for "fonts", I noticed:
intlfonts-bdf Mule_UCS
Ah, mule was not installed; after doing so, it doesn't crash... but I can not type the "ñ": I have to insist three or four times pressing the letter "ñ" till it prints something on the screen, which is not "ñ", but "?".
Installing intlfonts-bdf doesn't help, either. It doesn't crash, but I can't type the special Spanish characters. Argh... the more I use it, the more I dislike it: I can not understand why I can not use a letter which is on the keyboard.
Carlos it may be on your keyboard but as long as you use LANG=en_US you will not be able to type it what is your keyboard layout for etc/X11/XF86Config Section "InputDevice" Driver "Keyboard" Identifier "Keyboard[0]" Option "Protocol" "Standard" Option "XkbLayout" "tr" <---------- Option "XkbModel" "microsoftpro" Option "XkbRules" "xfree86" EndSection -- Togan Muftuoglu | Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer | Please reply to the list; http://susefaq.sf.net | Please don't put me in TO/CC.
