Hello: Is there a working mp3 encoder for opensuse 12 except from lame? I would like to recode a few mp3 files to lower bitrates but lame chokes on them with segmentation fault. There is no problem to play them with audacious or mpg123. I also tried this: mpg123 -s foster.mp3 | lame - out.mp3 but it exits with Warning: unsupported audio format Isn't the above command correct?
