Hello guys,
I'm still running SUSE 10.0 with stock KDE and I have noticed (many times) that when you right click the Trash icon and select "Empty Trash Bin" not all files are deleted from $HOME/.local/share/Trash/files. I had about 30GB's there and when I emptied it (thru right-click) it just deleted about 8 GB's. The remaining 22GB were still on $HOME/.local/share/Trash/files.
If I do a simple test now it works (it deletes the file from the above PATH). It seems to happen just when you have plenty of deleted data. I'm just curious if this is a known issue or is it just my setup :(
I do not have so much space to spare. I clean out in konsole as root. You can do it manually and cause recursive deletes in .Trash but then there are the directories with directories in them which being non empty do not delete. Use mc for this its easier. In fact its time to check before I go to church. CWSIV -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
