Did you have to manually copy the mplayerplug-in.so file to firefox/plugins? It wouldn't work for me until I did that (after YASTing mplayerplug-in), but afterwards it was fine (this is with Firefox 1.5, which doesn't appear to have the Help/About Plugins menu). The only lingering issue I have is an odd video refresh problem, where if I alt-tab'd to another window while the video is buffering (slow connection), when I come back the plugin window stays gray unless I grab the window and move it around. But I don't know if that's a plugin problem or something specific to my video setup. Oh, well, it's pretty minor.
