Evolution wouldn't build because of some problem with the Pilot stuff, and I wanted that especially. I'm thinking of trying again on 9 just for the fun of it, but I'd love to hear from you if there was some big gotcha about the gnome-pilot stuff that I ought to know... Regards all, dk
If you guys ever worked on compiling those stuff, would you please comment on m17n internationalization stuff? Is it basically a matter of switching on a compilation key to activate international characters built-in? Or is it a whole lot of extra work for those software to take care of Asian characters properly. I have tried to use James Ogley's custom-compiled RPMs several times only to find out that I cannot type the Korean characters even if I enabled ami. Probably ami is supposed to work with gtk1. Well. I tried to use imhangul for gtk2 without luck. You probably did not care about Asian characters in the past. Is it really a lot of work for you or for me to make those rpms take care of Asian characters properly? Thank you. Hugh PS: At the moment, jpilot-0.99.6-65 does not show Korean characters properly.
