I would hazzard that you are mis-speaking. *Most* top poster cannot be bothered with *anything* below their comment.
That is my impression too. When you're bottom posting, you're forced to page through whatever it is you're responding to. Kind of inspires one to chop away at it.
Seems if you can be deemed a **** if you top post, bottom post, trim and no trim.
