No. HTML5 supports vector graphics (either via SVG or a polyfill using canvas), a free render element (canvas), 3D (WebGL), audio and video codecs, ...
I was kinda suggesting "converted" to mean "automatically converted" :-)
I understand. You're quite right, this kind of automatic conversion is only useful for a few sites. Which is another reason not to switch: They have X time experience with fixing problems with flash, HTML5 is a whole new beast, no good authoring support, no internal knowledge.
