List, After Anders posted the links to the opera generic rpm, I thought I would give it a try. To my AMAZEMENT Java/Javascript worked like a charm in the opera.com package, but was broken completely in the openSuSE update package. The opera.com package was: opera-10.00.gcc4.qt4.x86_64.rpm The openSuSE Update package was: opera-10.00-6.1.x86_64.rpm Investigating further, I checked the java settings in the opera.com package and the java path for Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Content -> Java Options was: /usr/lib64/jvm/java-1.6.0-sun-1.6.0/jre/lib/amd64 Curious, I reinstalled the openSuSE package and check the same Java Option and it was the SAME!! What Gives?? Why does java in the opera.com package work and the opensuse package fail?? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
