I have NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-180.29-pkg2.run installed.
I plan to: 1. Deinstall it 2. Upgrade to yesterdays new security update kernel using yast 3. Reinstall it
Is this correct?
Or: Use the NVIDIA supplied KMP repository to avoid such issues in the future (linked from the Communities Repositories).
Could you please point to this repository (URL/link) .... (if this is not the correct one - http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories#NVIDIA_drivers) ? If this repo is enabled; after doing the kernel update, 1-click install of the nVidia Drivers will not be necessary ? To date, I have always installed the nVidia Drivers (openSUSE 11 & 11.1) using 1-click method.
