I do not want to export the raw partition. I have a hard disk with raw patitions on machine 2 which should be accessible by machine 1(both of them should be able to read and write to the raw partitions. machine 1 is a standby for machine 2: this is for oracle Real Application Clusters).
Why aren't you using ocfs2? It was designed by Oracle specifically to support RAC. Its been in the linux kernel for a while now. Anything else you do is likely to be unsupported by Oracle. At a minimum the last thing you should be doing for an Oracle install is just asking generic questions. They have lots of papers, instructions, supported configs etc. Greg -- Greg Freemyer Head of EDD Tape Extraction and Processing team Litigation Triage Solutions Specialist http://www.linkedin.com/in/gregfreemyer First 99 Days Litigation White Paper - http://www.norcrossgroup.com/forms/whitepapers/99%20Days%20whitepaper.pdf The Norcross Group The Intersection of Evidence & Technology http://www.norcrossgroup.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
