Here are the results of trying to modprobe.
Please don't use attachments on the list!
I use 8.1, and I have the module you want here:
/lib/modules/2.4.19-4GB/kernel/drivers/i2c/busses/i2c-sis5595.o /lib/modules/2.4.19-4GB/kernel/drivers/i2c/chips/sis5595.o
and not in /lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/sensors/sis5595.o as your error message specifies.

Hello, I to have in /lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/i2c no busses or chips file only object codes.
What happens when you do : locate sis5595.o?
I will not send attachments unless asked for.
I meant people on this list do send their configuration files and the like , but they include the information in the body of the message, not as an attachment.

If I do locate sis5595.o the return is locate: command not found If I do ls sis5595.o the return is No such file or directory.
try doing a 'find / -name sis5595.o' (without the quotes of course). -- Preston Kutzner | IT Manager USER, n.: The word computer professionals use when they mean "idiot." -- Dave Barry, "Claw Your Way to the Top"
