Hello,
I have a problem concerning the bash_history: When I use the arrow-keys to flip through the different entries in the bash_history the last character of the command line cannot be deleted. This is a bit disturbing, since I did not change anything and this behaviour was not there before.
Are you sure you can't delete it or does it just look that way? Sounds to me like you have some escape sequences in your prompt that aren't correctly bracketed by the "unprinting" start & stop prompt sequences, thus it has the wrong size for the prompt? -- Jonathan Arnold (mailto:jdarnold@buddydog.org) Linux Brain Dump - Linux Notes, HOWTOs and Tutorials: http://www.linuxbraindump.org Daemon Dancing in the Dark, an Open OS weblog: http://freebsd.amazingdev.com/blog/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
