I guess /proc/core is where crash errors get logged? Well, my week-old install has made a 539Mb filealready :( Can I control the size of this file, and/or what gets written to it?

From wht i havce heard the /proc is a virtual filesystem. The files in there actually takes NO space unless you copy them onto the disk. Check with "du /proc" and you'll get total size=0 The /proc/core is a image of your current memory. So dont worry. It is all in good order. -- /Rikard ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rikard Johnels email : rjhn@linux.nu Web : http://www.rikjoh.com Mob : +46 70 464 99 39 ------------------------ Public PGP fingerprint ---------------------------- < 15 28 DF 78 67 98 B2 16 1F D3 FD C5 59 D4 B6 78 46 1C EE 56 >
