Hi,
on a fresh 11.2 install the sound stutters (test sound in Yast, playing a wav-file or an audio CD): it's like the sound would be played twice with small pauses.
Where can I search for solutions? (I don't mean google - i've googled 2 hours now... ;-) )
thanks for hints
Daniel
I googled again with no success. I followed http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:AudioTroubleshooting - with no success: - installed alsa-firmware - reboot, no change
Wonder how did you install it, if alsa-firmware is not yet available for 11.2?
I just typed zypper install alsa-firmware as root
[SNIP]
- tried to find the info for Alsa-update-snapshot, but wherever I click, it says "TBD - openSUSE-11.2 is still under development with release planned in November-2009" and there's no link for the update for this kernel version of 11.2
Exactly! How did you do to update?
I didn't update. I wanted to, but didn'd find the URL or HowTo for 11.2... Any ideas for a solution?
