OUCH OUCH OUCH.
So now my mail lives under /home. It also get backed up as part of /home which is a bit more aggressive than /var.
I had always made a habit of backing up /var/spool/mail, but currently it's in it's own partition, separate from /var. I suppose I could have used a symlink to somewhere under /home, but this way works too.
If you are using maildir, you could consider making that partition a reiserfs one.
Why would you recommend one file system over another for this? - -- _____________________________________ - ---This space for rent--- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (MingW32) iEYEARECAAYFAlPzyX8ACgkQv7M3G5+2DLIebACfUoffGM2useGiZi1wrSHOZqfE NmEAn12G7krXvHS9i6hPH+zU5XiC2z8X =Tlw9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
