Subject: gnomecal
I have installed the helixcode GNOME on my system and running it as a normal
user as well as root i notice a strange behavior with gnomecal (don't know
how many other applications might do the same thing because I haven't tested
all the apps). The thing that is different between running the application
as root verses running it as a normal user, is the title bar. As root the
title bar has the title "root's calendar" while as any other normal user
the title is "'s calendar". I also noticed the same normal user title bar
in the gnomecal help screens. What I would like to know is where gnomecal
is getting the user name info that it uses in the tiltebar?
