I've got some old software (SuSE 6.4, Applixware, StarOffice) I don't use anymore. Seems a waste to just dump it (especially the shiny SuSE box :-) although the use is rather limited (especially Applix's, which is libc5).
Would it be illegal to donate this software? And if not, are there any charities or value-creating businesses that would be interested in this stuff?
I'd toss it.
I've got Applix4.37 installed on SuSE 8.1, loads quite quickly, don't use it much but It could be valuable for someone not wanting to wait for open writer to load up. It would be great for a lower powered machine, find someone to donate it to. (Economically underprivelaged nations come to mind) See ya -- dh Don't shop at GoogleGear.com!
