There are commercial adapters, but very pricey. You know that the only reason to convert I can conceive is that you like the ergonomics, or image of the Sun hardware, mice and keyboards are practically free for PCs. You can buy a sparc 5 cheap on e-BAY, or use yours as a linux X-terminal, getting the same environment but a nostalgic look. P.S. The Mandrake sparc distribution is much better than SuSEs. Neither are cutting edge, but SuSE is very slow on vintage hardware. On Tuesday 08 April 2003 15:51, Richard Bos wrote:
Is it possible to connect a Sun keyboard/mouse that comes with a Sun Sparc 5 to PC hardware and use it with e.g. SuSE? I assume (hope) that the Sun keyboard/mouse must (can) be connected via a converter.
