first, The name of this product is SuSE Enterprise
Server 8 and it means....SuSE takes the responsibility
to provide the newest configuration in this package.
Man, this SuSE Enterprise Server 8 has only KDE 3.0
and a lot of old software even this is the newest
version of enterprise edition package.
second, I got this error message :
"
Sie haben einen fehlerhaften Registriercode angegeben!
"
if I tried to use my valid registration code (the
number is written on my "SuSE maintenance Program"
card) for this SuSE Enterprise Server 8 on this site :
http://support.suse.de/form .
I hope you see a lot of ridiculous things in this
package.
Each software or any product, if they use "Enterprise"
as the name of their product must be as complete as
possible because it is used by an enterprise and
because it cost very expensive, included : Microsoft,
Sun Solaris, CISCO etc.
Well, anyway I learned from this experience that not
all of the SuSE product satisfies their customers...
Thank you very much.

Can't help you with the password but I can't help feeling that buying something expensive without making sure what it is was perhaps a foolish move on your part and not something that you can blame SuSE for.
FWIW, Enterprise versions (of most things) lag behind consumer versions because they have to be more reliable.
